This page describes only what this website’s code actually does. The site runs at depthmediaholdings.com (with redirects from related Depth Media Holdings domains) and is hosted on Railway.
What we collect
- Contact and press forms. When you send a message, we store the time, kind (contact or press), name, email, message, and any topic, outlet or deadline fields you fill in, so we can reply. A honeypot field catches bots; those submissions are discarded.
- Company updates signup. The footer form stores the email address you submit and the time, so we can send company updates. You can ask to be removed by emailing us.
- Site search. Search queries are handled as ordinary requests to our own search API and search page. We do not keep a separate long-term search log beyond hosting logs.
- Rate limits. Forms briefly count recent requests in memory by network address to slow abuse. Those counts are not written to disk.
What stays on your device
- Theme preference. Light or dark mode is saved in your browser’s local storage (
dmh-theme) only. No cookie is set for theme. - Share buttons. Share links open X, LinkedIn or Facebook only when you click them. Copy-link uses your device clipboard.
What we don’t collect here
This site does not run a first-party analytics beacon, third-party ad trackers, social pixels or Google Fonts loads. Fonts come from your system font stack. We do not set analytics cookies for visitors.
Hosting and related sites
The app runs on Railway. Stored form and newsletter data live in this project’s data store (Postgres and object storage when configured). Railway may keep short-lived access logs that can include IP addresses and request URLs. Portfolio status lights and Overlooked headline panels fetch public data from our other sites on the server; that does not send your personal information to those sites.
Your choices
Email marketing@depthmediaholdings.com to correct or delete a contact message or newsletter signup, or to ask what we hold about you. Clear the theme preference in your browser settings any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
